This Dog Training and Care Center next to Ski Round Top in Lewisberry, PA is going Solar and Saving thousands of Dollars on their electric bills every year. Most of the electric usage comes from the large climate controlled training center which operates year-round.
In addition to generating over 27,000 kWH every year, this Solar Energy System has the latest in Optimizer and Monitoring Technology. The operators will be able to tell how much energy this puppy is producing from anywhere with access to an internet connection.
This system of 75 panels will be helping all of the facility's K9 visitors breathe easier by reducing the amount of particles in the air that are harmful to dogs and humans. Below are some estimates from the EPA on how much pollution it will be offsetting:
